BLOOD MOON BEAST UNVEILED. MEGALOPOLANS INVOLVED IN MISSING PERSONS CASE.

ROUTE 119 — During the blood moon of September, a search party of volunteers ventured into the swamps of Route 119 to investigate the whereabouts of missing persons, Spencer Modell, Junichi Sato, and Minako Sato. It has long since been believed that a "Blood Moon Beast", an aggressive wild Pokemon, has been responsible their disappearances and many others in the area.

Reports from the search party claim that it was no Pokemon that was responsible for the missing victims. Although an Ursaluna was discovered during their search, witnesses state that it was not hostile.

Yuina Higashi (DEPICTED LEFT), a museum curator in Petalburg, said, "What was the Blood Moon Beast? You shouldn't keep calling it that... It wasn't a beast at all. It was a Pokemon that was horribly displaced from its home and was just trying to find its owner. The Ursaluna had nothing to do with the missing persons and was instead a victim, just like the rest of us, in what had happened in the swamp."

During the search, a rogue band of Megalopolans, ambushed the group. The search party state that the missing persons were kidnapped in a similar manner and brought to a tera crystal cave beneath the swamp.

There, the Megalopolans attempted to leave by spacecraft, before being disrupted by a space-time distortion. However, no evidence of a Megalopolan vessel has been discovered in the area.

"What happened in the swamp was a tragedy and my heart goes out to the families and loved ones of the missing persons whose bodies we discovered. The number of people in the search party, their rescue of the Ursaluna, and their bravery in fighting off the cannibals is a testament to the Hoennian spirit." Elite Ranger jack wainwright (DEPICTED RIGHT) said.

Any surviving Megalopolans have also disappeared, though witnesses say they spotted several figures fleeing through the woods after the incident. Consequently, concerns have been raised over public safety. Authorities instruct that should a member of the public see a Megalopolan, contact their local officer or ranger branch immediately and do not approach.

	THE RAM (APRIL) Trainers will blaze through romantic endeavors like a Charizard's Flamethrower. Your passion isn't limited to battles; let it ignite the spark in your relationships. Just be mindful not to burn a hole in your wallet—dragons love shiny things. Just remember to slow down once and awhile. Others are trying to keep up with you.
	THE BULL (MAY) Like a Tauros charging through fields, your financial prospects are on the upswing. Channel the sturdy nature of the Ground-type to build a stable and fertile foundation. In matters of the heart, your steadfast approach will turn romance into a reliable partnership. Just be wary of where you spread your seeds.
	THE TWINS (JUNE) You're juggling luck and love this week, much like an Ambipom with two tails. Embrace the duality in your romantic life, and you may find unexpected fortune. Just remember, balancing love and money is an art—don't drop the Poke Balls!
	THE CRAB (JULY) Your emotions are as precious as a Clamperl's pearl. Dive into romantic waters, but beware of overspending on fancy dinners. Your love is a powerful force, but financial risks are best avoided. Keep the waves of passion flowing and don't clam up. This is a period of new beginnings and exciting conversations.
	THE LION (AUGUST) Channel the regal aura of Pyroar, and lead with both your heart and your wallet. Your charismatic Noble Roar can attract both admirers and financial opportunities. However, your magnetic appeal may draw in enemies. Keep a keen eye on those you keep close. You may very well find a traitor in your midst.
	THE VIRGIN (SEPTEMBER) Sharpen your latent psychic intuition! In matters of the heart, trust your instincts like a Future Sight move, and invest your emotions wisely for a successful and fulfilling experience. Nevertheless, you must be careful of being too cold. Connections are important and can not be sustained solely by logic.
	THE SCALE (OCTOBER) Your friends or colleagues may be going through tough times. Use your warm presence to console them, but do not be swept in the Surf of their emotions. Be cautious of influences that might disrupt your balance, in all spheres: love, money, and Pokemon battles.
	THE SCORPION (NOVEMBER) If you find yourself in an unsettling situation today, use your inner intensity to captivate your opponents, your friends, and loved ones. You might come up with some surprising conclusions, but they'll never steer you wrong. Just be aware of balancing the seesaw of "me" and "we". Don't give until it hurts, or else you'll just be Poison Stinging yourself.
	THE ARCHER (DECEMBER)[break] Expect a lot of misalignment in the energies that surround you. Misunderstandings, miscommunication, and mismatches will be rampant in your life. However, do not fret. These mishaps can charge you like a Joltik latched onto a Yamper. New chemistry can be discovered and maybe you'll find someone you never thought you'd get along with!

What happened there was absolutely heartbreaking. But it wasn't the Blood Moon Ursaluna's fault! I was there. Unfortunately, I will not speak anything on it. I'm still processing it myself. I'm more concerned about the Megalopolans and their whereabouts. They are clearly dangerous. I worry, so PLEASE contact your local Hoennian Ranger or Officer if you think you even glimpsed a Megalopolan. DO NOT ENGAGE! Curiosity will lead you nowhere good in this situation. Trust me.

I am still trying to process what happened at the incident and it has not gotten easier. I'm glad that everyone else has made it safely and that poor bear did not hurt anyone, it was just trying to help us. Still, the fact that those strange beings are still out there concerns me... On a lighter note, the tournament does make for a nice breather event away from the horror.

I am glad the Ursaluna is okay, and that most of us made it out in (mostly) one piece. I'm not sure my psyche could take another blow like that. And the ship's disappearance worries me. The last thing we need is that kind of technology dropping into the wrong hands.
